Brian has over eighteen years of experience in the financial services area. A native of the "Buckeye" state, he graduated from The Ohio State University and began his career in investment planning with Bank One. After five years as a Financial Advisor and Team Leader, he became a Vice President and Financial Advisor with McDonald Financial Group, a Key Bank company. After several years, Brian founded Van Winkle Wealth Management Group, LLC, an independent financial services firm.
Mr. Van Winkle is a member of the Professional Advisors Group of The Catholic Foundation, a prior member of the Granville Education Foundation Board, past treasurer of the Bryn Du Association, past board member of the Granville Kiwanis and Newark area Jaycees, and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Brian holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses as well as a State of Ohio Life/Health Annuities license.
Brian specializes in providing objective, unbiased, unique solutions for families, businesses, and non-profit organizations regarding their wealth accumulation, investment management, insurance portfolio design and comprehensive estate planning needs.
Brian resides in Granville, Ohio with his wife Valerie and their children, Alexis and Grant

 | Carol Ann Doneff : Senior Office Administrator
Carol has been involved in the financial services industry for over twenty five years, working in many areas of banking. Most recently, she was an Investment Representative for Banc One Securities working with the clients in the Newark/Granville area. She holds a FINRA Securities Series 6 license as well as the State of Ohio Life/Health Annuities license.
Carol is responsible for over seeing all office functions, including opening and maintaining the client accounts, reconciliation of accounts and all other daily operations.
She lives in Newark, Ohio with her family and her cats - Cookie and CoCo

 | Valerie Van Winkle: Office Manager
Valerie has 17 years of experience in the professional world, working in the medical field and in real estate. She attended Franklin University and has her real estate licence from Hondros College. She is currently working on completing her State of Ohio Life/Health Annuities license.
Valerie is responsible for overseeing all the daily activites and functions in the office. Including working with clients, answering the phones, scheduling appointments, and following up on miscellaneous paperwork.
Valerie is an active member of the TWIGS 14 group, works on various other committees, and enjoys helping out at the schools that her children attend. Valerie lives in Granville, Ohio with her husband, Brian, and their children, Alexis and Grant.

 | Kate Duffus: Office Support Staff
Kate is recently graduated from the College of Wooster. She helps keep the office running smoothly by managing appointments, assisting with paperwork, doing research as necessary, and handling everyday technological obstacles. Kate will be pursuing a graduate degree in the next few years, but is currently living in Granville, Ohio.
In her free time, Kate volunteers for the Denison Museum and is passionate about swing dancing and reading.
